We go back to Jenny for two new Tadpoles, build a moonpool at BOTB Gateway, and explore a research outpost before revisiting the observatory. There are blueprints to scan, biomods to try, and a useful discovery: charging two vehicles leaves very little power for dinner.

Session 06 rebuilds our tunnel to the previously discovered Gateway Spire. The game stole our titanium and throws DancingCoder into the path of the Collector Leviathan. We get lost in a hot cave & explore a new biome.

Session 05 was meant to be the long swim back to Jenny. We never set off. Instead we watch the Collector Leviathan play with our Tadpoles, dive deeper into the canyon, discover a Gateway Spire, then drown in a cave hunting for two bits of copper.

Session 04 sends us out to build a base where we can watch the Collector Leviathan. We build it, name it Belly of the Beast, construct a long tunnel to try evade the Collector Leviathan but still lose all of our Tadpoles, and we end the night a very long swim from Jenny.

Session 03 starts with Mr.Pendragon inside a giant clam and ends with a death by starvation. In between, we reach the Tadpole Pens, go down into the Graveyard Caves, fix Jenny's power, find a face in a rock and crash into our SEED logo for a second time.

In Subnautica 2 Session 02, our room block idea from the previous session becomes something rather more ambitious: a giant floating SEED logo. Built beside our cliff-edge base, Jenny, the logo pays tribute to the game that inspired AnvilGaming. We also expand Jenny, add a viewing platform, move the moonpool, build two Tadpoles and attempt an underwater fly-by, with the usual amount of accidental crashing.

In our first AnvilPlays session of Subnautica 2, we race through the early objectives, build our cliff edge base before reaching Camp One. There are resources to gather, alien creatures to investigate, a surprisingly effective face-chomping and several completely avoidable deaths caused by forgetting that oxygen is rather important underwater.
Read MoreFollow our Subnautica 2 play sessions as we build, explore and discover everything this beautiful alien ocean has to offer. AnvilPlays is where we share what actually happens when we sit down and play, from the first scramble for resources and oxygen to building bases, exploring unfamiliar environments and dealing with the creatures that would very much prefer we stayed out of their territory.
Each session is a snapshot of our journey through Subnautica 2, with detailed write-ups covering what we did, what we discovered, the bases we built and the moments that caught us completely off guard. Along the way, we’ll share amazing scenes from the underwater world, videos of key moments and plenty of the smaller stories that tend to happen when two people are trying to survive on an alien planet without remembering where they left the oxygen tank.
Whether you’re already playing Subnautica 2, thinking about jumping into the game, or simply want to see how our adventure develops, you can follow each session as the story unfolds. From ambitious building projects and new discoveries to close encounters, unexpected deaths and the occasional decision that seemed like a good idea at the time, AnvilPlays is our ongoing record of the journey.
Follow our play sessions of Medieval Dynasty, where we share our experiences as we build, explore and grow our settlement from humble beginnings. From dense forests and rolling fields to bustling villages and harsh winters, we document the people, places and challenges that shape life in our medieval world. Featuring beautiful scenes, detailed write-ups and videos of key moments, join us as we forge a new life from the ground up.

Although we are actively playing in SEED, we don't publish our sessions here like we do for other games we are playing. Simply because, we have a dedicated section for everything SEED and frequent updates from our Society, Wyrmhold. Find out more about SEED below.
